Spain Summer Study Abroad (Music and Entertainment Business track)

If you are always thinking of ways to innovate antiquated business models of the music and entertainment industry, this track is for you. During an intensive three or six weeks in the summer, you’ll spend time with Berklee faculty and peers from around the world sharpening your knowledge in marketing, management, and legal aspects of international music business.

Bachelor of Professional Studies in Music Business


Sharpen your knowledge of the concepts, skills, and methodologies needed to succeed in today’s evolving music business in this online degree program. Through hands-on instruction from Berklee College of Music’s award-winning music business faculty, you will study how the music business currently operates and where the business is headed in the key areas of music publishing, licensing, law, management, touring, marketing, and entrepreneurship.

As a music business major, you’ll learn the fundamentals of business within the music industry from a musician’s perspective. While completing the college’s core music curriculum, you’ll immerse yourself in the legal, financial, artistic, and ethical issues that face the contemporary music business professional. You can select one of three available tracks: self-directed or entrepreneurial activity, music products, or management in corporate environments.

Master of Arts in Music Business


Students in this interactive online program complete 12 courses at a recommended pace of three courses per semester over four 12-week semesters. Students complete the program with the advanced skills to be leaders in transforming many areas of the music industry, including management, marketing, licensing, distribution, touring, and more.

Master of Arts in Global Entertainment and Music Business

Valencia, Spain campus

Students in this program learn with a close cohort of classmates on the Valencia, Spain, campus for three semesters, with an optional fourth semester internship. This unique, face-to-face learning experience focuses on the principles and practices that are central to global business models. Students choose a concentration in entrepreneurship, live entertainment, or record labels, all of which are designed to bolster leadership skills and career potential.
